Aircraft Structures Technician (Sheet metal)

Experienced Aircraft Structures (sheet metal) Technician. Carry out assigned repairs and overhauls for Aircraft repair station which specializes in Hawker parts. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, manuals, product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing structural components on aircraft. Evaluate assigned project for repair and overhaul by disassembling sections, pieces or entire object to determine amount of damage, parts needed, man hours, additional resources required and completion date. Advise project lead and shop manager of evaluation outcome. Research service bulletins and/or other rnaintenance manuals to determine proper repairs parts numbers, whether assigned project is pre or post mod and determine if any other specifics are required. Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

ONLY EXPERIENCED AIRCRAFT STRUCTURES TECHNICIANS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A&P License preferred but not required.
• 6+ years experience in aviation structures.
